Thankful Thursday!

I've decided that Thursday's would be a fabulous day to write about what I'm thankful for, and since the Lord has blessed me so much, I should never have any problem thinking of things to write about! :)

This week I am, as always, incredibly thankful for my beautiful children!! This week Piper took her first steps and I couldn't be more proud! Alora continues to amaze me every day with her incredible imagination and creativity - I can't get enough of her sense of humor! There is rarely an hour during the day when I don't laugh at least once because of her crazy antics!
I am also thankful for warm socks! I know that most of the country is basking in warm temps this time of the year and enjoying the sunshine, but this week it has been gloomy and cold and nothing feels better than warm socks when you're cold! I'm also trying to be thankful for the slow week my Etsy shop has had! While my first instinct is to complain about having no sales in 8 days, I'm trying to focus more on the fact that it has allowed me to spend extra time wtih my family instead of rushing to fill orders! I am thankful for good books! I know it's going to label me as a total geek, but I am currently reading the Wheel of Time Series from Robert Jordan and I'm loving it! It has everything I look for in a book - magic, monsters, humor, suspense, and is so far from actual reality that reading it is like a little vacation!
I am also very thankful for my comfortable computer chair! I've been working some long hours lately and I shudder to think what that would be like on the folding chair I was sitting on only a couple of months ago!

I hope that all of you are able to find a multitude of things to be thankful for today, and every day! Count your blessings, name them one by one, count your blessings see what God has done! God bless!

Thanks for the reminder to be thankful for what we have. Warm socks are an awesome thing to be thankful for. I have several favorite merino wool socks that were hand knit for me in Canada. Super cozy and oh so warm. They made many a wintry market day much more bearable.

That's exciting that your daughter took her first steps. Mine son is on his way to doing the same!
